Location of the college:
Latur is famous for “Latur Pattern” as educational city. The college is situated in plot No. 7 of additional MIDC areas on Latur-Barshi high way near Harangul railway station which provides good academic and educational environment. Latur is well connected to all the district places in Maharashtra and India through state rode transport and railways.
The Dnyandev Patil Charitable Trust, Chikhurda, Dist, Latur was established in September 1995. The trust is dedicated to educational, social and economic development of farming community and rural people. The organization has identified the correct needs and formulated strategies for the development of human resources in the the field of agriculture business management. With this intention, trust started a college of Agriculture Business Management comprising U.G. program i.e. B.Sc.(HONS) (AGRICULTURE BUSINESS MANAGEMENT) in August 2004 vide sanction No. AXR/KSD/145/2004 dated on 06-08-2004 and affiliated to Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidhyapeeth, Parbhani to meet the human resources in the field of agriculture business management and marketing.
The efforts are being made to provide skilled technical manpower through effective teaching supported by effective practical in the field of Agriculture Business Management and in different agro-based industries. There is special experiential learning program in which student have to select one of the Module either from Agri. Marketing or Agri. business management and Agri. Economics to work and gain experience for six month in VIIth semester (one semester). In VIIIth semester the student are engaged in In-Plant training program.
